I’ve worked in customer service throughout various industries for the past 30 years. Most recently, I joined Chautauqua Institution as the associate manager of guest experience and ticket sales in 2019. In this position, I am responsible for recruiting and hiring our seasonal ticket office staff, managing and scheduling the seasonal guest experience staff, and providing forward-facing customer service throughout the entire year. My favorite part of working at the Institution is connecting with our patrons and sharing all that the Chautauqua area has to offer.
Prior to working at the Institution, I worked at and served a number of not for profit organizations throughout Chautauqua County. I have a professional background in speech and Language Therapy having worked in both in the K-12 school setting and as an itinerant therapist for pre-schoolers. .I earned my bachelor’s degree in speech and language disabilities at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Fredonia, and my master’s degree in special education with a concentration in behavior management at Mercyhurst College.
Why did you choose to work at Chautauqua? What do you like about working at Chautauqua?
I enjoy sharing resources and information about attractions and businesses throughout my home area of Chautauqua County with our patrons. I find mentoring and training our ticket office staff, whether students or retirees, to be personally rewarding.
