“Let’s take it to the woods.” With these words, Chautauqua co-founder Lewis Miller affirmed the importance of setting and nature to the Chautauqua experience.

In that same spirit, Chautauqua Institution invites members of the community to participate in the Tribute Tree program — a meaningful way to honor or remember loved ones while supporting the beauty and vitality of the grounds. Each tribute tree helps preserve the natural setting that makes Chautauqua such a unique and cherished place.
