Angelo Giuffre (Full Time Officer)

I was hired here at Chautauqua Institution in January 2021, as a Full Time Police Officer.
Prior to my employment here at Chautauqua Institution, I enlisted in the U.S. Army as a Combat Engineer in 2000 and served in Mosul, Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom from July 2005 to September 2006.
I graduated from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Academy in 2009 and was employed with the Salamanca Police Department where I served on their SRT team, and as an Investigator for a period of time. I then moved to Florida and worked as a dispatcher for the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office. After moving back to the area, I worked with the Sheriff’s Office on the Buffalo Bill’s security detail.
In my free time, I sing in the choir at my church with my daughter and am involved in our newly formed youth group at St. James Church in Jamestown.
I am excited for the opportunity to be a part of this team, and look forward to being a part of this community.
