About Mei

Mei Maxwell is the research associate and project coordinator in the Department of Education. In this role, which primarily supports the Chautauqua Lecture Series, Mei helps to identify themes and lecturers, draft language for invitations and announcements, and coordinate logistics for lecturers before and during their Chautauqua experience. Over the summer, she also provides support for the morning lectures, meet and greets, book signings, and Masters Series programs. 

Prior to joining Chautauqua, Mei studied, worked, and volunteered in the fields of public health, medicine, policy, international relations, and law. She recently earned a Master of Public Health from Dartmouth Medical School. She holds a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience and a minor in political science from the University at Buffalo.
