Design & Directing Fellowships
Fellowships are offered to early-career directors as well as graduate-level candidates in scenic, lighting, sound, and costume design. Design fellows assist designers on mainstage productions, and are provided with other design opportunities. Directing fellows assist directors on mainstage productions and New Play Workshops. They also take a leading role in community engagement initiatives and talkbacks.
Is there a Stipend?
The directing and design fellows receive housing and a stipend. The term of engagement is for eight weeks.

In past seasons the positions have been filled by graduate students from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Yale School of Drama, The University of Texas at Austin, Carnegie Mellon University, Boston University and CalArts among others.
How Can I apply?
To apply, send a cover letter and resume to email@example.com. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but we strongly encourage you to apply by March 1.
