Director of Instruction: Mr. Bret James, PGA
Chautauqua Golf Club and Learning Center will be led by Director of Instruction, Mr. Bret James. Bret comes to us from Miami Beach, Florida where he has been the lead instructor at Indian Creek Country Club for the past 6 years. Prior to his stint in Miami, Bret was the Director of Instruction at Blowing Rock Country Club, North Carolina. He also has worked several years for the Jack Nicklaus/Jim Flick Golf Schools and is acclaimed as their Lead Short Game Instructor. Bret also worked in Indonesia in 1996 overseeing the Bukit Darmo Golf Club. Prior to that, Bret was the Head Professional and Director of Instruction at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Academy at Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club in Manila, Philippines.

Women-only Happy Hour Clinics
These evening clinics include 1½ hours of instruction followed by drinks and snacks.
Fee: $45
Time: 5–6:30 p.m.
Maximum enrollment: 10
- Series 1: June 28, Week 1
- Series 2: July 12, Week 3
- Series 3: July 27, Week 5
- Series 4: August 2, Week 6
- Series 5: August 8, Week 7
- Series 6: August 23, Week 9
Individual Lessons – by appointment only
- 1 hour lessons: $130
- Junior 1 hour lessons: $90
- ½-hour lessons: $65
- Junior ½-hour lessons: $45
