Experience Chautauqua

Situated in the heart of Chautauqua County and adjacent to Chautauqua Lake, these two championship golf courses will challenge even the most experienced golfers.

With our well-stocked Pro Shop and PGA Professionals on staff, you will find your visit to Chautauqua to be an enjoyable and memorable experience.

Chautauqua Golf Club opened for play on July 18, 1914, and has carved a rich and exciting history. Legendary architects Seymour Dunn and Donald Ross have left their legacy here. Fourteen World Golf Hall of Famers, including Sam Snead, Ben Hogan, Walter Hagen and Gene Sarazen have walked these fairways. Statesmen, celebrities and performers attending the world-renowned Chautauqua Institution have eagerly challenged our course as well, including President Bill Clinton.

The attraction to Chautauqua remains the same today as it has been throughout the years — a golf experience built on quality and service; a golf experience that challenges the experienced player and invites the novice, all while celebrating the enjoyment of this great game; a golf experience mindful of the importance of environmental stewardship; and, with two four-star-rated courses, a golf experience that offers real choice and variety.

Make your next round of golf be a part of our history!

Sponsorship Deliverables

Increasing Brand Awareness

Membership Benefits for Employees or Group Members

Sponsorship Deliverables

Sponsor Sign
In recognition of your sponsorship, your brand’s name or logo will be placed on or near our main scoreboard. This board will be located prominently outside our clubhouse in an area that provides maximum traffic and exposure for your investment.

Clubhouse Sponsor Sign
Your brand’s logo will be proudly displayed in our clubhouse, for members and guests to see, on a professional pennant-style banner. This will serve to show your brand’s support of Chautauqua, as well as your commitment to growing the game of golf in the Chautauqua area. The style will tie into the theme of our clubhouse bar and restaurant, the Double Eagle Patio on the Green.

Scorecard Advertising
A major scorecard overhaul is planned in the near future and a spot for your logo is part of that plan.

In addition to the benefits listed above, your brand will also receive recognition through the following avenues:

  • Restaurant Placemat Advertising
  • Website Advertising Sponsor Page
  • Corporate Cup Tournament
  • Membership Cost Reduction for Employees

Increasing Brand Awareness

Chautauqua Golf Club presents a unique opportunity to increase brand awareness for your company, group, or affiliation. With more than 26,000 rounds played annually, your brand will be represented to a large number of golfers not only from the Chautauqua area but across the region.

Multiple tournaments, outings and events are played at Chautauqua Golf Club each year. These events will also serve to increase your brand:

Member-only Tournaments

  • 10 per year
  • Average of 36 participants per event

Charity or Corporate Outings

  • 20 per year
  • Average of 100 participants per event

Junior Events

  • 3 per year
  • Average of 40 participants per event

School Team Events

  • 6 per year
  • Average of 20 participants per event

Membership Benefits for Employees or Group Members

With your sponsorship of the Chautauqua Golf Club comes an exciting benefit to an unlimited number of your employees or members. Your sponsorship will provide the opportunity for your employees or members to purchase a Chautauqua Golf Club membership at a drastically reduced rate, which varies depending on your level of sponsorship.

Companies or groups that place value on promoting a healthy lifestyle amongst their employees or members need to look no further than the game of golf. An 18-hole round on either course, is a 4.5-plus-mile walk on terrain of varying elevation. Combine that with the inherent athletic nature of the golf swing and you have a relaxing yet stimulating physical activity in the fresh outdoor air.

In addition to the physical aspect of the game, golf also promotes a social aspect and atmosphere of camaraderie that will strengthen interpersonal relationships.

Even at their reduced rate, your employees or members will receive all of the benefits that come with membership at the Chautauqua Golf Club, including:

  • Unlimited golf with no green fee
  • Preferred starting times
  • Member-only tournaments
  • Golfing reciprocals
  • Affiliation with the USGA Handicap Service
  • Learning Center membership
