Instructional Costs
Includes full instruction costs, fitness center membership, registration fee and gate pass to attend all events for free (except opera and theater).
Instrumental Program $2,780
TOTAL: $4,760
Instrumental students automatically receive a full tuition scholarship to attend. Many others receive scholarships to cover room and board as well. At most a student will pay $500 towards the total cost of $4,1760.
We do have work study positions available to help defray the cost.
Deposits
Two deposits are required within seven days of admission into one of Chautauqua’s programs. Upon admission to the program, a placeholder or tuition deposit of $500 (at most) guarantees the student’s scholarship award and a place in the program. A security/music deposit of $100 is required of all students, including those on full scholarships. This deposit guarantees a student’s housing and is used to defray the cost of damage to dormitories or loss of or damage to other property.
